What is a butterfly garden
Butterfly Garden is an experimental / educational kit that offers a practical experience of living LIVE butterflies from caterpillars to hatching and launching back into the wild. It is not a problem to see butterflies in nature, and if you are lucky, you will find some caterpillar. But it is hard to find butterflies of butterflies and most likely you will not see the whole development live. And that is what the butterfly garden can do - you can watch with your own eyes the caterpillars of thistle transforming into pupae and then into beautifully colored butterflies. After hatching, the children feed and watch the bow ties for a few days and eventually release them back into the wild. No special care is required during development and no harm is done to the butterflies.

Who is the butterfly garden intended for?
Butterfly gardens will be especially appreciated by preschoolers. It is ideal as a gift for individuals, but mainly as a spring / summer activity for kindergartens. Thanks to the practical demostration of metamorphosis, butterfly gardens are also suitable for the first stage of primary school. Butterfly gardens will be appreciated by all "gooseberries" of any age, including adults.

What are the first steps
Step 1 - Ordering a basic set (basic set does not contain live caterpillars!)
Step 2 - After receiving the set, you will order caterpillars at your chosen date, which will be delivered directly from the butterfly farm

Can you imagine a better way to offer a child the opportunity to explore one of the most amazing changes in nature? Butterfly gardens are not only a great asset for learning, but also for gaining and deepening the relationship with nature. They are very suitable for urban children who do not have as many opportunities to interact with nature.

Butterfly Garden includes:

1x durable 30cm butterfly net with zip closure, reusable and easy to store
1x pipette for nectar dosing
1x detailed Czech instructions
1x certificate for ordering 5 live butterfly caterpillars with FREE feeding (guarantee of hatching at least 3 bow ties)

The validity of the certificate is not limited in time, but can only be used once!

The species of butterfly is the Black-thorn - lat.Vanessa Cardui. This species is commonly found almost all over the world and Central Europe is one of the natural habitats of this species of butterfly. Other types cannot be ordered with this set.

Supply of caterpillars
Caterpillars are not part of this set, but you order them separately with the enclosed certificate. After confirming the order, the caterpillar container is sent directly from the butterfly farm to the customer. When ordering caterpillars you DO NOT PAY ANYTHING, delivery to customer's address is included in the price of this set.
Ordering caterpillars is only possible between March and mid-September and please note that butterfly caterpillars are not sent if temperatures above 26 ° C are expected at the time of scheduled transport, when their death.
